Practical First Aid for Parents & Carers

This 3-hour Parent First Aid Course covers 8 areas of content, that will help parents feel more confident in a first aid situation. This course is suitable for parents and carers and uses scenario-based training techniques as these are proven to maximise recall and provide learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to act effectively when paediatric emergencies arise. 

• Dealing with an emergency 

• Choking 

• CPR 

• Febrile seizures 

• Head injury 

• Swallowing poisonous substances 

• Bleeding heavily & nosebleeds 

• Croup 

• Meningitis/Sepsis
